In her work she is exploring the problematic of the perception of the female body in the contemporary, consumerist-oriented, culture, or more precisely, the way it is reflecting on the body itself, corporeality. About Una Novosel
Born in Belgrade in 1988. As a granddaughter and daughter of painters, she grew up in ateliers exploring inspiration while playing with painting techniques and all kinds of stuff that can be found in an atelier like canvas frames, sawdust, and other residues. These researching steps from the beginnings are still present in her artistic work today – together with acrylic paint, she uses various discarded and recycled objects, such as bags, sand, pebbles, plastic, metal, to create and gives them a new purpose.
She applies her art through various fields in mediums like painting, interior, drawing, sculpture, scenography.
Una communicates with her audience through the abstract form of Expressionism and Art-Informel.
